We have been busy preparing this week. We have purchased a few outfits that are gender neutral. Have done research on bottle systems and decided on the Tommee Tippee line. We have been researching car seats and strollers. I can't wait to be chosen so we know what gender to buy for. Whatever happened to simple clothes. Finding the gender neutral cloths was a challenge. There are some really neat things out there now-a-days like the baby bath jacuzzi for when the baby has had a hard day and needs that little extra relaxation ;-)
We already have a crib that we won in a raffle and a changing table.
To all of those that have been wishing us well, thank you...the support has been wonderful.

I finally have a few moments to sit down and post.
Yesterday Heather & I went to the Houston Temple. It was wonderful as it was exactly 11 years ago when we were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the San Diego, CA Temple.
Each day brings us closer together as we wait for our turn to be parents.

This song is exactly how we feel about our children that are coming to us through another mother.
Here is an excerpt from the lyrics:
I might have to wait, I'll never give up
I guess it's half timing, and the other half's luck
Wherever you are, whenever it's right
You'll come out of nowhere and into my life
And I know that we can be so amazing
And, baby, your love is gonna change me
And now I can see every possibility
Oh, you know it'll all turn out
And you'll make me work so we can work to work it out
And I promise you kid to give so much more than I get
Yeah, I just haven't met you yet

It has been wonderful to have received so many comments from people.
One of the comments was from Wendy in Indiana:
One of the comments was from Wendy in Indiana:
"I will for sure pray for you all. I am a birthmother (25 year veteran) of a wonderful young man. I have given up a child and prayed for a child so I can relate.
Thank you Wendy and all the others who are sending encouraging thoughts and prayers.I think your pretty amazing to open your home up to a child. If someone had not done that for me, I wonder where I would be. I was not in a situation to raise Taylor because it was not safe for him. Thank you for being so selfless to open your hearts. Bless you and if there is anything I can do for you all, please do not hesitate to let me know. I will help anyway I can."

Welcome to our blog.
I thought I would go ahead and start one now as we are getting ready to move into the next phase of the adoption process.
Now that all of the questionnaires are completed, tomorrow we will hopefully have our home study completed.
We are so excited about moving on in the process and hopefully we will soon have a child or children with us to raise and share all of the love that is overflowing within us.
